Chapter 6 – Do You Know What a Local Tyrant Is?

The two of them were enjoying the breeze and moonlight, having a pleasant conversation.

However, the tranquility was shattered when someone barged in.

"This gentleman, Miss Muyue is occupied today. Please come back another day!" someone advised, blocking the way.

The intruder glanced up, seeing the two in the pavilion.

He sneered, "Is her business keeping company with this pretty boy?"

"Please, sir, mind your words!"

The guard advised earnestly, knowing that it was Lu Changsheng, and felt a heavy weight in his heart.

The newcomer was a young man in his twenties, with an ordinary appearance, a robust build, and a face full of arrogance, showing disdain for everything around him.

"I'm just looking out for you, worried that your Flower Queen might be deceived by a pretty boy. Don't you know such people are the best at sweet-talking?"

"Sir, please leave. This is someone you can't afford to offend!"

The guard pleaded, for the young man's own good, fully aware of who Lu Changsheng was.

The young man laughed, "I am Shi Feng, a Direct Disciple of the Xuantian Sect. Just a pretty boy, what's there to be afraid of?"

"He..."

Before the guard could finish, Shi Feng ignored the warning and continued forward.

The Xuantian Sect was one of the three major sects in Cangzhou, equal in status to the Cangyun Sect. Even here, he felt no fear.

Lu Changsheng glanced over but remained indifferent, sipping his wine.

Su Muyue was somewhat surprised. It was normal for young men to be impulsive and hot-blooded.

But even after being insulted, he showed no reaction, which seemed overly calm.

Su Muyue asked, "He speaks of you like that, and you're not angry?"

Lu Changsheng replied, "Everyone feels jealousy. It's a fact that I'm more handsome than him. Why be angry? You can't stop people from being jealous!"

Su Muyue was taken aback.

By this time, Shi Feng had arrived, standing before the table, unable to hide the amazement in his eyes as he looked at Su Muyue.

"Sir, I have no time today. Mr. Lu was here first, so I can't entertain you!" Su Muyue spoke politely.

Shi Feng retorted, "Then let him leave. If he doesn't, I'll throw him out!"

Su Muyue glanced at him, finding him truly domineering.

"Young man, don't be too arrogant. It's not good for you!" Lu Changsheng spoke with an air of seniority, never caring about the person before him.

Bang!

Shi Feng slammed his palm on the table, spilling wine everywhere, his aura revealing a cultivation of the sixth level of Spirit Gathering.

Su Muyue wasn't worried, rather curious about how Lu Changsheng would respond.

After all, she had known him for so long and had never heard of him taking action.

Lu Changsheng asked, "Are you trying to scare me by slamming the table?"

"Slamming the table is nothing!" Shi Feng sneered, a playful glint in his eyes, "What if I just flip it over?"

"Go ahead and try."

With that, Shi Feng raised his hand and flipped the table.

The sound of dishes shattering echoed continuously.

Shi Feng's eyes gleamed with pride, looking at him provocatively, "I know you're Lu Changsheng, so what?"

Lu Changsheng stood up at this point, unhurriedly.

"You know me?"

"So what?"

"Do you know what a local tyrant is?"

"Hmm?"

Shi Feng raised an eyebrow, seemingly not understanding, "What, you want your senior brother to stand up for you?"

"To deal with a small fry like you, why bother my senior brother!"

"Hah!"

Shi Feng sneered, just about to speak again when streaks of light flashed across the sky.

Figures flew in on swords.

"Senior Brother Changsheng!"

Several figures bowed to Lu Changsheng.

They were much older than Lu Changsheng, yet only Inner Disciples, still addressing him as senior brother!

Shi Feng looked at Su Muyue, seemingly puzzled.

Su Muyue also curiously observed, only to see Lu Changsheng suddenly point at Shi Feng.

"He flipped the table to intimidate me and looks down on our Cangyun Sect!"

"What!"

As the words fell, the crowd's faces darkened.

Shi Feng frowned, feeling their gazes, yet remained calm, "So what? Do you dare to hit me?"

Slap!

As soon as he finished speaking, a young man stepped forward swiftly, slapping him across the face.

The crisp sound of the slap echoed, leaving Shi Feng stunned, his face quickly swelling with bright red marks.

"I'm a Direct Disciple of the Xuantian Sect, you..."

Bang!

Just as he was about to speak, the table he flipped was somehow lifted and slammed onto him, making a loud noise.

Immediately, several people surrounded him, originally gentle and calm, now fierce and menacing.

Shi Feng screamed, trying to use his power to resist, but was pinned to the ground.

Only then did he realize these people all had cultivation levels of the sixth or seventh level of Spirit Gathering.

A group of people ganging up on him, he stood no chance.

The people who came with him also got a good beating.

Lu Changsheng leisurely walked to the side, watching them get beaten with a smile on his face.

No one knew the situation here better than him.

Cangyun City was under the Cangyun Sect, with elders and disciples on duty every month, always paying attention to the happenings here.

When Shi Feng flipped the table, the patrolling elder was already aware.

Normally, they wouldn't interfere in such minor scuffles, but it was different when it involved Lu Changsheng.

Everyone knew he was Zhou Qingyu's junior brother. Even if not for Lu Changsheng, they had to give face to Zhou Qingyu.

Moreover, although Lu Changsheng usually didn't do serious work, he was a good person.

He took care of them, always asking his senior brother for help with anything they didn't understand.

But Shi Feng, relying on his status, thought to provoke Lu Changsheng, figuring even if they fought, as long as no one died, it wouldn't be a big deal.

But the other party didn't play by the rules, calling people to gang up on him.

Accusing him of looking down on the Cangyun Sect, a group of people gave him a good beating.

"Lu Changsheng, you..."

Shi Feng roared.

Lu Changsheng said, "Gag him and keep hitting. It's time to showcase the might of our Cangyun Sect!"

The group complied.

Su Muyue stood in a daze, originally curious about how he would resolve it.

But she never expected this outcome.

Being provoked, he remained unmoved, seemingly lacking any spirit, and even disregarded the rules, calling people to gang up.

Was this the might of the Cangyun Sect?

Of course, Lu Changsheng didn't care about the beating, as long as no one died.

Instead, his gaze inadvertently swept over the distance.

When Shi Feng arrived, Lu Changsheng habitually used his divine sense to scan the surroundings, discovering someone secretly watching.

And not just one, all were Golden Elixir experts.

According to Cangyun's rules, anyone in Golden Elixir entering the Cangyun Sect's territory must report, or they'd be considered enemies.

The Cangyun Sect would then act, life or death not considered.

Recently, no one had reported.

Thinking of this, Lu Changsheng withdrew his gaze, seeing the fight almost over, and had them thrown out.

He also bid farewell to Su Muyue and left.

However, after leaving, he quietly disappeared, instantly arriving near the hidden Golden Elixir experts!

"One at the fourth level of Golden Elixir, two at the third level, what are they planning?"

Lu Changsheng watched from afar, quietly observing everything.

He wouldn't allow anyone to harm the sect, having deep feelings for it.

In this dangerous world of cultivation, if the sect fell, where would he go, who would protect him?
