Chapter 6 – Heartless Enforcer Spider-Man, Unleashed!

Tony clearly didn't pay attention to Luo Mang's words.

Once he knew the reason, the faint jealousy in the air dissipated significantly.

After exchanging a few bantering words with Pepper, Tony didn't spare Luo Mang another glance and left directly for the airport.

Luo Mang also declined Pepper's invitation to stay, citing other commitments, and casually found a wheelchair to leave the hospital.

But before leaving, Luo Mang gave Pepper a deep look.

Then he left the hospital without looking back.

From the timeline, it had been two days since Luo Mang was shot.

Peter and the school were probably looking for him.

The wound on his chest was still bleeding, with the gauze faintly stained red.

Yet Luo Mang didn't stop, enduring the pain as he wheeled himself back home.

"No wonder it's Stark Industries' private hospital; the wound didn't even tear open."

Calmly touching his wound, Luo Mang muttered to himself.

But just then, the water in the transparent glass beside him trembled slightly.

Luo Mang hadn't opened a window, so there was no wind.

But why...

Thinking of this, Luo Mang's expression remained unchanged.

He slowly lifted his head to face forward, speaking in as calm a tone as possible.

"Peter, I know you're here."

The room was silent, with no response, as if Luo Mang was truly alone.

But in the next second.

From the dark corner of the room where no light reached.

Peter, dressed in black, crawled along the wall, inch by inch emerging from the shadows.

He crawled with all four limbs, appearing eerie and sinister, like a human spider.

Only when he reached above Luo Mang did he leap down from the ceiling.

Even so, Peter made no sound, exhibiting the basic qualities of a top predator.

Facing Luo Mang, he removed his mask, revealing a face even paler than Luo Mang's, with eyes red from strain.

"Luo.

I couldn't find you.

I thought you were taken by the local gangs."

Peter's voice was hoarse, like a crazed beast on the brink of death, trying to grasp the last straw of hope.

As Peter approached Luo Mang, the strong scent of blood enveloped Luo Mang's nose, lingering persistently.

"How many people have you killed in these two days?"

"I don't know."

Seeing Luo Mang, Peter's tense voice relaxed considerably.

After a brief silence, Peter finally answered.

The moment he tore Danny apart, it was as if Peter had opened a new door.

The grief and long-standing grievances in his heart vanished almost entirely.

But when Peter returned to look for Luo Mang, he found he could no longer locate him.

Not even in any of the nearby hospitals was there a trace of Luo Mang.

Peter nearly went mad.

For two days and nights, Peter was constantly killing.

He didn't know where this teacher, as important to him as Uncle Ben, was.

He couldn't even be sure if Luo Mang was still alive.

So Peter unleashed all his fury on the local gangs.

The gangs that bullied the weak, they deserved to die no matter what!

Peter wore Uncle Ben's black leather coat, tightly wrapping his homemade suit inside.

As every drop of sinful blood fell on it, forming a colorful black.

Peter always felt that Uncle Ben was pleased with his transformation.

"Uncle Ben was right... with great power comes great responsibility!

These demons from hell... I'll send them back to hell!"

The atmosphere grew increasingly oppressive.

Yet Peter suddenly felt a pair of warm, large hands gently stroke his head.

Ruffling Peter's messy hair, Luo Mang's smile remained gentle.

"You did nothing wrong, it's my fault for worrying you, I'm very sorry."

Hearing Luo Mang's words, Peter suddenly recalled those two nights.

The night Uncle Ben was shot... the night Luo Mang was shot...

"Peter, I'm very sorry." ×2

The weak and powerless words gradually pieced together like fragments, yet they pierced Peter's fragile heart like a drill.

"It should be me apologizing, Luo!"

Peter lifted his head again, his eyes now filled only with determination.

"From now on, I won't let you get hurt again, I promise you!"

"I have no doubt."

Peter's presence was overwhelmingly intense, yet Luo Mang met his gaze without flinching.

"But... you need to go home now, Peter.

May just lost the person who loved her most and was hurt by Danny, she needs you now."

Peter looked at Luo Mang speaking calmly, and the image of Aunt May's pained expression flashed in his mind.

His eyes suddenly brightened, as if he had returned to the Peter of old.

"Oh!

Luo, you're right, I've been looking for you and neglected Aunt May.

My God, I haven't been home these two days, Aunt May must be worried sick!

No, no, how could I forget Aunt May, she was just hurt!"

Peter seemed a bit flustered, but there was a vitality in his panic, no longer the lifelessness from before.

"I need to leave now, oh, sorry, Luo, I'll take the window."

Luo Mang calmly watched Peter tiptoe out the window, swinging away on his webs.

Finally, there was a hint of satisfaction in his heart.

This is how Spider-Man should be, not like some knight playing his capture games.

Clearly capable of a punch with 20 tons of force, yet holding back when capturing criminals, afraid of accidentally killing them?

That's not it, Luo Mang was merely guiding what should belong to Spider-Man, letting things return to their rightful path.

However, what Luo Mang didn't expect was that on Peter's current path of growth, Uncle Ben's influence still lingered.

"With great power comes great responsibility...

No!

With great power comes great authority!

I wonder what perfect form Peter will take under Uncle Ben's 'guidance'? I'm truly looking forward to it."

His lips curled into a smile, but unlike other times, this time Luo Mang's smile was genuine.

Sitting upright in the wheelchair, a few drops of blood seeped through the gauze and slid down the silver-white wheelchair, echoing softly in the room.

"The preliminary conditions are complete, now let's set the plan in motion."

......

"I'm truly sorry, my unexcused absence has caused you a lot of trouble.

But my current state is no longer suitable for this job.

I hope you can find a more responsible teacher to replace me, thank you for your care over the years."

Hanging up the phone, Luo Mang looked up at the minimalist villa before him, slowly wheeling himself forward.
