Chapter 6 – Storm Greatsword

Presented before Han Wu were three options.

Option One: Level 1 Sacred Relic: Crimson Demon Eye. Once integrated into the Divine Core, there is a chance to birth Core Followers with blood-red eyes. Blood Eye: Enhances the host's dynamic vision and triggers a basic berserk state upon seeing blood.

Option Two: Level 1 Skill Crystal: Fireball. Once integrated into the Divine Core, it allows Core Followers to master basic fireball techniques. It can also be taught to elite lifeforms, with the potential to comprehend the ultimate fireball technique.

Option Three: Iron-Cleaving Sword Wind, a hero lifeform from the Sword Wind Tribe.

The quality of these three offerings was significantly higher than those obtained from the first sacrifice.

Han Wu wished he could have them all, but the rules allowed him to choose only one.

Considering the battle against a thousand-strong demigod army tomorrow, Han Wu's gaze lingered over the three options.

Among them, the most valuable was undoubtedly Option One, the Level 1 Sacred Relic: Crimson Demon Eye.

It could benefit the entire Core Followers with astonishing effects.

However, it wasn't suitable for the fragile locusts, so Han Wu reluctantly eliminated it.

Option Two was also quite appealing. Once integrated into the Divine Core, it would enable all Core Followers to master the basic fireball skill.

Combined with the locusts' overwhelming numbers, an attack would turn the battlefield into a sea of fire.

Yet Han Wu still didn't choose it, because the locusts' individual strength was too weak.

Even the basic fireball skill was beyond what ordinary locusts' fragile bodies could handle; they might burn up before even launching a fireball.

Thus, Han Wu ultimately decided on the third option.

Iron-Cleaving Sword Wind.

This was the name of the hero lifeform. Being a hero lifeform was testament to its formidable strength.

After confirming his choice, the information about Iron-Cleaving Sword Wind appeared before Han Wu.

Follower Name: Iron-Cleaving Sword Wind

Follower Race: Sword Wind Tribe.

Follower Level: Hero Lifeform.

Follower Talent: Sword Wind.

Follower Skills: Whirlwind Slash (Level 1 Skill, Basic), Gale Slash (Level 2 Skill, Basic), Storm Slash (Level 3 Skill, Basic), Iron-Cleaving Style (Level 5 Self-Created Skill, Comprehension Level Unassessable).

Faith Level: General Believer.

Faith Power: 500,000/day.

Life Cycle: 800 years (Current Age 150).

Looking at this splendid information sheet, Han Wu marveled at the strength of the hero lifeform.

It had four skills, one of which was self-created, and even the Divine Logger couldn't evaluate its comprehension level.

Moreover, its long life cycle meant it could accompany Han Wu for nearly two years, barring any accidents.

After reviewing Iron-Cleaving Sword Wind's information, Han Wu's gaze fell on its physical form.

This hero lifeform from the Sword Wind Tribe had a humanoid appearance, with a slender body and pale hair. Its most distinctive feature was its two pairs of arms.

It can be hard to make great work when its stolen from bit.ly/3iBfjkV.

Sensing Han Wu's gaze, Iron-Cleaving Sword Wind immediately requested, "Oh Divine One, I need a sword!"

The Sword Wind Tribe was born for battle; without a sword, it was like a gun without bullets.

Han Wu nodded, understanding the importance of equipping Iron-Cleaving Sword Wind with high-end weapons.

After cultivating a large number of locusts over the past two days, the accumulated Faith Power would crystallize into a point of Divine Power once it reached one hundred million.

Combined with the remaining Divine Power from previous land sales, Han Wu's current assets amounted to 54 points of Divine Power.

On the trading website, equipment was generally divided into four levels.

These were ordinary equipment, faith equipment, divine power equipment, and divinity equipment.

Ordinary equipment was crafted purely from materials, with no energy infusion.

Faith equipment was a masterpiece of rare materials combined with Faith Power, often possessing special effects.

Divine power equipment was forged with a large amount of divine power crystals, usually possessing a soul and capable of self-growth.

As for divinity equipment, it was the exclusive domain of deities, representing divine authority and power.

With Han Wu's current asset of 54 points of Divine Power, buying divine power equipment was nearly impossible, but he could consider purchasing a decent piece of faith equipment.

Opening the trading website, Han Wu filtered out sword weapons under 54 points of Divine Power and let Iron-Cleaving Sword Wind choose.

Iron-Cleaving Sword Wind quickly selected a piece of faith equipment: the Storm Greatsword.

Its price was 50 Divine Power.

Han Wu nodded, as 50 Divine Power was within his budget.

He immediately placed the order.

With 50 Divine Power spent, the Storm Greatsword was delivered to him.

"Your weapon," Han Wu said, handing the Storm Greatsword to Iron-Cleaving Sword Wind.

Iron-Cleaving Sword Wind took the Storm Greatsword and excitedly swung it twice, instantly stirring up a fierce sword wind.

Even the accompanying sword wind was formidable; one could only imagine the scene when it clashed with a skill.

Han Wu looked forward to Iron-Cleaving Sword Wind showcasing its might in the invasion battle.

But then, Iron-Cleaving Sword Wind made another request: "Oh Divine One, I need three more of the same weapon to unleash my full power!"

Han Wu was stunned.

Three more Storm Greatswords? Easier said than done—that would be 150 points of Divine Power!

Did he think Divine Power grew on trees?

But Iron-Cleaving Sword Wind was his only hero lifeform, and its strength was crucial for Han Wu.

Moreover, with the battle against Zhang Gang's thousand-strong army tomorrow, Han Wu couldn't afford to be careless.

However, 150 points of Divine Power was no small sum for a high school student.

Where could he get it? Was he supposed to rely on his pitiful social connections to borrow from classmates?

Begging on the street seemed more reliable than that.

Wait, Han Wu suddenly remembered that there might be a classmate willing to lend him Divine Power.

With a hopeful mindset, Han Wu found his contact list and sent a video invitation to that person.

In the Divine Realm space, Qin Shuang was meditating on an ancient tree, surrounded by countless Thunder Sparrows dancing around her.

These Thunder Sparrows were Qin Shuang's Core Followers, naturally elite lifeforms and favored children of the thunder element, also serving as aerial combat units.

With such advantages, Qin Shuang's strength ranked among the top five in her grade.

However, her attention wasn't on her Core Followers.

She kept replaying a scene in her mind.

It was during a Divine Realm trip organized by her class in elementary school when she sneaked out to play and accidentally fell into a lake.

Though she was a divine creature, she was no different from an ordinary human as a child.

Qin Shuang struggled desperately but couldn't surface, and just as she was about to suffocate, Han Wu appeared.

With his small body, he pulled her ashore, performed CPR, and brought her back from the brink of death.

Afterward, Han Wu didn't seek praise from the teacher but continued his life as if nothing had happened.

But Qin Shuang couldn't forget the figure that saved her.

Since then, Qin Shuang had kept an eye on Han Wu and even helped him when he was bullied.

But that blockhead Han Wu never accepted her help.

"This blockhead, he deserves to be squeezed dry!" Qin Shuang thought angrily.

She was born noble.

Her grandfather was a true god, and her family included 23 demigod relatives.

With such a status, even the principal greeted her with a smile, yet Han Wu always ignored her.

Did she really have to humble herself to beg Han Wu to accept her help?

Just as Qin Shuang was fuming, a video request popped up.

She intended to reject it, but upon seeing the note, it was from Han Wu.

Qin Shuang's heart was like a cat scratching, curious about what Han Wu wanted.

After five seconds of silence, Qin Shuang chose to answer.

"Have you changed your mind and agreed to be my servant?" Qin Shuang asked.

"No, I just wanted to borrow some Divine Power," Han Wu replied.

Qin Shuang sneered, "You want to borrow Divine Power from me? What will you repay me with? Your trashy followers? Don't think that just because you beat Zhang Bin in the invasion battle, you're exceptional. Your self-detonating locusts barely qualify as elite lifeforms and aren't worth much."

Han Wu was silent for three seconds, "So, will you lend it or not?"

Qin Shuang snorted, "How much? Account."

After hanging up, Qin Shuang wished she could slap herself. Why did those mocking words slip out?

She didn't mean it that way; would Han Wu misunderstand?

He surely would!

Qin Shuang felt deeply guilty.

On the other side, Han Wu received 150 points of Divine Power.

He immediately purchased three more Storm Greatswords and gave them to Iron-Cleaving Sword Wind.

With four Storm Greatswords, Iron-Cleaving Sword Wind's faith in Han Wu rose by one level, becoming a true believer.

It now provided 2 million Faith Power daily.

An unexpected delight.
