As Su Muchen officially stepped into the Deep Sea Arena, he was momentarily taken aback by the scene before him.
Beneath his feet lay mottled stone slabs, engraved with dragon patterns and wave reliefs. Overhead, a flowing deep blue water curtain stretched out, as if the entire ocean was suspended in the sky.
What was most astonishing was that he felt no difference between this place and the outside world. There was no immense pressure, and he could breathe freely. Yet, the creatures in the water swam through the air. Schools of silver-scaled flying fish darted by, and massive jellyfish extended their translucent tentacles. Even a few entirely blue seahorses elegantly swayed their tails as they moved forward through the air.
The entire space defied the laws of physics, perfectly blending water and land. In the center of the arena stood a towering statue.
