After a thunderous roar in the sky, everything fell silent. The surging clouds and mist dissipated, and the Buddha light on the body of the Arhat Du'e also converged.
He opened his eyes, and a burst of wisdom flashed in his eyes, then quickly receded.
Seeing the disciples of the Buddhist sect still pondering, Du'e Arhat knew that they were in a wonderful state of enlightenment. In the Buddhist sect, this was the process of enlightenment.
What the eyes see, what the ears hear, and what the heart comprehends.
Of course, this was a far cry from the enlightenment of Master Du'e.
Du'e Arhat did not disturb the disciples' enlightenment. With his hands clasped together, he said loudly, "The sage said, there is no distinction in learning, and those who reach enlightenment become immortals. This is the ultimate truth.
"Although Master Xu is not a member of our Buddhist sect, he possesses great Buddha nature, which has allowed me to gain insight and elevate my thoughts. This precisely verifies the principle that everyone has the Buddha nature and can become a Buddha by realizing their true selves.
"Many thanks to Master Xu for guiding me and allowing me to comprehend the Mahayana Buddhist teachings. Master Xu, you have passed the third trial."
The profound Buddhist theories were incomprehensible to the common people. From Du'e Arhat's words, they only extracted the core meaning:
Master Xu is amazing, Master Xu is my teacher, Master Xu has passed the third trial.
"Just now, did that high monk from the Buddhist sect say, 'Master Xu should be my teacher'?"
A man dressed as a scholar in the front row stammered.
"My teacher?"
The martial artists in the crowd were excited.
Martial artists had always been looked down upon by various systems. They were seen as using force to commit crimes, and their crude and violent nature only caused destruction and death, except for when they were useful in battle. They were considered a destabilizing factor in the Nine Provinces society.
Now, a dignified high monk from the Buddhist sect, a second-rank Arhat, actually said that a martial artist should be his teacher.
To the martial artists around, this was a breath of fresh air, and they couldn't help but feel proud.
"The entire Great Feng martial world should remember the name Xu Qi'an. He is a true warrior."
"The martial artist system has finally produced a talented individual. I have traveled the martial world for many years and have never seen a martial artist being respected as a master by the peak experts of other systems."
"When I return to my hometown, I will spread the word about this. This trip to the capital has been worthwhile and broadened my horizons."
"Indeed, when I return home and drink with my friends and family, I will be able to talk about this for three days and three nights... I suddenly can't wait to go home."
In a corner, a charming woman reluctantly took her eyes off Xu Qi'an and turned to look at her proud disciple, Xiahunshou Rongrong.
"Rongrong, I have inquired about it. This Mr. Xu... um, is a regular at the Official Brothel Sector."
Rongrong, who was heavily made up but not vulgar, bit her lip and looked back at the woman. "Master, what do you mean?"
"We, the people of the martial world, do not pay attention to formalities," the beautiful woman said softly. "Rongrong, with your looks, it would be acceptable for Mr. Xu to take you as a wife, but your status is not enough. However, being a concubine would be no problem."
"I..."
Rongrong wanted to refuse, but the man was just too dazzling. He was so dazzling that even a woman as self-confident in her beauty as her couldn't help but feel a little moved.
...
Xu Qi'an ascended the steps, and along the way, he did not encounter any more trials. He walked all the way to the end of the steps and entered the small square outside the temple on the mountaintop.
This was a single-story temple with a straight roof and flying eaves, no side halls, and no wing rooms, just a main hall.
"The temple should be the final trial. I remember that Master Du'e said that if I still refuse to convert to Buddhism after entering the temple, then it would be considered a loss for the Buddhist sect..."
In an instant, Xu Qi'an recalled the 108 techniques taught to him by the courtesans of the Official Brothel Sector, in order to defile his heart and become tainted with the exclusive colors of the royal family.
Confirming that he had become an old lecher, he nodded in satisfaction, pushed open the door of the temple, and entered the hall.
...
Seeing this scene, Du'e Arhat clasped his hands together and said, "Once inside this temple, even a stone can be enlightened and convert to Buddhism."
What did this mean?
The crowd frowned at his words, then remembered the theme of this competition: converting to Buddhism.
The Western Region envoy not only had to win the Heavenly Mechanism Plate, but also had to convert the competitors to Buddhism, dealing a heavy blow to the prestige of the Great Feng.
"You stinky monk, this palace wants to see what's inside the temple." Biaobiao stood up suddenly, and her charming peach blossom eyes, rarely filled with determination, flashed with anger as she said, "Who knows what dirty tricks your Buddhist sect has set up inside to harm the silver reputation of our Great Feng."She didn't believe that Xu Qi'an would enter the Buddhist gate, but the methods of Buddhism were strange, and forcibly "converting" was also possible. Unable to see the scene in the temple, Biao Biao kept imagining, imagining Xu Qi'an being harmed.
She couldn't help it.
"Since it's a fight, it should naturally be a grand event. Du'e Arhat, please show the scene in the temple," Huai Qing said coldly.
The nobles in the cool shed all spoke up.
"Right!"
Arhat Du'e smiled and folded his hands together, waving his large sleeves. The Buddhist scene changed, and everyone saw the flickering candlelight in the main hall.
In the hall, a six-foot golden statue sat cross-legged, almost touching the ceiling.
This Buddha statue had thick, drooping ears, a face like a golden plate, half-closed eyes, with a hint of a compassionate smile, but also exuding an indescribable, awe-inspiring dignity that reached the depths of the soul.
Looking at it, one couldn't help but bow in reverence.
"There are two dharma images in the temple, and this one is the Vajra dharma image. Xu donor, the secret of the Vajra Sutra lies within the golden body. If you can comprehend it, you can cultivate the invincible Vajra of Buddhism," Master Du'e's voice came through.
The Vajra Sutra is in the dharma image... Xu Qi'an's eyes lit up instantly. He had always coveted the Vajra supernatural powers of Buddhism. If he could cultivate this body-protecting supernatural power, he would be invincible at the sixth-rank martial artist level.
Moreover, with this supernatural power, Xu Qi'an's final weakness would also be compensated for. After chopping with a knife, the exhausted Xu threw the knife, lay on the ground, and said to the enemy, "Come on, make your move."
No wonder the Bureau Chief insisted on having me represent the Bureau of Heavenly Masters in the fight... Bureau Chief, did you foresee all of this?
Excited, Xu Qi'an also felt a chill down his spine. The Bureau Chief was too terrifying.
Outside, after hearing Arhat Du'e's words, the martial artists present suddenly brightened their eyes and looked up at the Buddha statue, wishing they could stare their eyes out and stick them to the Buddha statue.
Xu Qi'an sat cross-legged on the cushion, looking up at the Vajra dharma image.
Arhat Du'e was watching him. The Vajra supernatural powers were only suitable for warrior monks. Monks who practiced Buddhism could not master the Vajra supernatural powers until they reached the Arhat realm.
Arhat Du'e was just setting the stage to win Xu Qi'an over to Buddhism.
As a naturally talented Buddhist, no matter what, Arhat Du'e had to convert him to Buddhism and make him a disciple of Buddhism.
This was not only to appreciate his talent, but also because Xu Qi'an was the founder of the Mahayana Buddhist doctrine, and Arhat Du'e wanted to be the founder of the Mahayana Buddhist doctrine.
In this way, in order to better promote the Mahayana Buddhist doctrine and transform the Hinayana into the Mahayana, Xu Qi'an's existence was crucial.
Xu Qi'an, the pioneer of the Mahayana Buddhist doctrine, must join Buddhism in order to demonstrate its "orthodoxy."
The Vajra Sutra is in the Buddha statue? What a mess... Xu Qi'an stared at the Buddha statue for a moment, not blinking, and his eyes were getting sore.
I am indeed a crude and boorish warrior without the roots of Buddhism... he thought to himself.
Suddenly, a warm stream surged from his abdomen, starting from the lower dantian, passing through the middle dantian, entering the upper dantian, and his brow suddenly quivered, as if a thin film of plastic had been pulled open.
The Buddha statue in front of him changed...
It still sat motionless, but the Buddha's charm flowed around it, and a profound sense of Zen appeared before Xu Qi'an's eyes.
Surprisingly, he understood the Zen, and understood the Buddha's charm contained in the dharma image.
Is it... helping me?!
The thought flashed through Xu Qi'an's mind, and he unconsciously changed his sitting posture, folded his hands together, half-closed his eyes, and looked exactly like the Buddha statue.
This process lasted for an unknown amount of time. Suddenly, a golden spot appeared on his brow, and then quickly spread, as if an invisible brush was outlining him.
In a few breaths, Xu Qi'an was radiant with golden light all over, looking like a golden body dharma image.
...
Arhat Du'e was stunned.
"How did he transform into a golden body?!"
"He... really cultivated the invincible Vajra?!"
Seeing this scene, the common people almost collapsed, their faces instantly sagging, like deflated balloons, with no previous joy and pride.
This nobleman had gone through three trials, brought great glory to The Great Feng, and made the people of the capital proud. In the end, he was "converted" by Buddhism.
The effect of the slap from Buddhism was really too harsh.
"The invincible Vajra, he has cultivated the invincible Vajra!" A sharp cry suddenly erupted from the crowd.
It was a man dressed as a martial artist, pointing excitedly at Xu Qi'an, his lips trembling non-stop.
"What invincible Vajra? Didn't he convert to Buddhism?"
The people around the man hurriedly asked."Of course not, not only did he not convert to Buddhism, but he also cultivated the Buddhist technique - Indestructible Vajra." The man dressed as a Jianghu guest explained, gesticulating wildly and laughing madly:
"Failing to steal the chicken and losing the rice, haha, hahaha! This Vajra is a natural talent, a true natural talent.
"In time, he may surpass the Northern King and become the top martial artist in the Great Feng."
The commotion was like a flood bursting its banks, surging and roiling. The common people who didn't understand cultivation were relieved and began to laugh again.
It turned out that the young genius of the Great Feng did not convert to Buddhism, but instead cultivated the Indestructible Vajra of Buddhism.
In time, he may surpass the Northern King... The woman by Xu Xinnian's side, upon hearing this, perked up and gazed at Xu Qi'an with a complex expression.
Deceiving people, how could anyone in the Great Feng surpass the Northern King in martial arts?
In the same area, the nine Vajra felt as if they had bitten into a lemon, their stomachs churning sourly. Even though they were powerful martial artists of the fourth rank, they still coveted the Indestructible Vajra.
When the difference in strength is not significant, the one who is the toughest will win.
Indestructible Vajra... Wei Yuan furrowed his brow, then smiled.
He didn't investigate the truth, as long as Xu Qi'an could make progress in martial arts, it was good to be a little confused.
The civil officials reacted well, after all, they were not cultivators, and they were amazed at Xu Qi'an's terrifying talent.
The military officials widened their eyes, feeling sour in their hearts, sour towards Xu Qi'an and sour towards Wei Yuan.
Such an outstanding martial seed was actually obtained by Wei Yuan.
"Father, after today, you may not be looked down upon anymore." Xu Xinnian said softly.
Xu Ershu, who was in a good mood, turned his head and asked in surprise, "Why?"
"Because you have cultivated such a martial genius as your eldest son." Xu Xinnian smiled, "In the future, anyone who practices martial arts will have to praise you."
"Hahaha." Xu Ershu burst into laughter.
Xu Lingyue straightened her budding chest, feeling proud and honored. This was her big brother.
"Hehehe." Lin'an raised his eyebrows.
"Don't be too happy too soon, there's still a Vajra to contend with." Huai Qing said in a deep voice.
On the rooftop of the restaurant, Heng Yuan looked on with envy, "Indestructible Vajra..."
"Steady." Chu Yuanzhen patted the bald man's shoulder and said with a smile, "When you go back, ask Xu Ningyan for the Indestructible Vajra. Your path as a martial monk can go even further, and it's not impossible to advance to the third rank of Vajra."
The words of the persistent old monk and Xu Qi'an were heard word for word by the people outside. With Chu Yuanzhen's wisdom, it was not difficult to guess that the next rank after the eighth-rank martial monk was the third rank of Vajra.
Amidst the cheering and encouragement, the Arhat Du'e chanted the Buddha's name, and his voice, tinged with a smile, spread throughout the venue: "This level is called 'Asura's Heart Inquiry.'"
Asura's Heart Inquiry?
The waves of sound gradually subsided, and all eyes turned away from the Buddha's Mountain Secret Realm and looked at the Grand Master Du'e. This included Wei Yuan and the Prime Minister Wang, as well as Emperor Yuan Jing on the top floor of the Observation Tower.
"This is an allusion from our Buddhist tradition..." The Arhat Du'e spoke eloquently.
According to legend, when the Buddha established the Buddhist sect in the Western Regions, it was occupied by a group of barbarians called the "Asuras." The Asuras were cruel and belligerent, reveling in bloodshed and violence.
In order to compete for territory, they indiscriminately slaughtered the Buddhist monks.
Upon learning of this, the Buddha personally went to the Asura's territory, meditating for three days and three nights, enduring the attacks without retaliating.
The brutal Asuras immediately engaged in combat, and with each strike, flesh was torn and blood flowed, but within the blood and flesh, a resounding body was revealed.
With each strike, flesh was torn and blood flowed, but within the blood and flesh, a golden light shone.
After three thousand six hundred strikes, the Buddha shed his mortal flesh, revealing the golden body.
During the three days and three nights of slashing and hacking, the Asuras came to a realization, renouncing their violent ways and converting to Buddhism.
The common people in the crowd listened with relish, but the powerful ministers, aristocrats, and hereditary nobles all had their faces changed.
Of course, there would be no Buddha in the temple, but since this level was named "Asura's Heart Inquiry," the effect must be the same as the Buddha's conversion of the Asuras.
If even the cruel and bloodthirsty Asuras could be converted, then why couldn't Xu Qi'an?
At the same time, in the temple, the squinting Vajra suddenly opened his eyes.
In an instant, the majesty of the Buddha's teachings was like a collapsing mountain, like a tsunami, carrying an irresistible force that engulfed Xu Qi'an.
The boundless Buddha light that Xu Qi'an saw did not give a sense of peace, but instead gave a feeling of dominance and irrationality.
In an instant, it crushed his will and changed his heart.
"The eight sufferings of life are meaningless, joining the Buddhist sect is the only destination...""I am the founder of Mahayana Buddhism, and Buddhism is more suitable for my development."
"What are you hesitating about? Are you really content with being a crude warrior?"
One after another, thoughts flashed through, recounting the various benefits of Buddhism, and Xu Qi'an still felt that it made a lot of sense.
A person's thoughts can change, probably requiring a long time to change, but at this moment, Xu Qi'an changed his mind in a short instant.
He began to yearn for Buddhism and the Buddhist teachings.
Even the courtesans of the Official Brothel Sector no longer seemed alluring.
In full view of the public, Xu Qi'an stood up, slowly drew out his black and gold long knife, and with his other hand, pressed it against his sable hat...
Damn, I can't take it off, I can't take it off!
A huge sense of shame made him regain a bit of "self."
Drawing the knife, taking off the hat... this was to shave his head and become a monk, but he had no hair. If he took off the sable hat, his "big meatballs" would be exposed to the eyes of thousands of people.
...
"The poor monk's visit to The Great Feng is truly the most correct decision I have made in my life."
The smiling voice of the Arhat Du'e rang out, and one could feel his ecstatic mood just from his voice. "Enlightened to the Mahayana Buddhism in one day, and gained a natural-born Buddhist disciple. Amitabha Buddha, bless the Buddhist sect."
The crowd was furious.
There were no curses, because everyone was focused on Xu Qi'an, holding their breath nervously. Anyone could see that Xu Qi'an was struggling, resisting the "demonic questioning of the heart."
"Hold on, hold on..." murmured Biaobiao, twisting her delicate hands tightly around her skirt.
Huai Qing's pupils dilated slightly, and she had a clear thought in her mind, a thought that turned into two words: don't.
Xu Pingzhi stood up, clenched his fists, as if he was exerting force together with his nephew.
"It seems like you don't care whether he becomes a monk or not," the plain-looking woman glanced around and found that everyone was nervous and angry, but her nephew was not looking at the novice monk, but instead staring intently at the Arhat Du'e.
"I do care," Xu Xinnian said.
"Then why have you been staring at the Arhat Du'e?"
"I'm thinking about which angle to stab him from."
On the rooftop of the Observing Stars Tower, Emperor Yuan Jing suddenly turned around, pointing at Xu Qi'an in the secret realm, and urgently said, "Supervisor, I do not allow Xu Qi'an to enter the Buddhist sect and become a Buddhist disciple. No matter what method you use, you must stop him."
The supervisor smiled and said, "Your Majesty is the supreme ruler, and a mere novice monk is not worth worrying about."
"No!," Emperor Yuan Jing vetoed, angrily saying, "The Great Feng has finally produced a rare genius. How can we let him be ordained into the Buddhist sect? You must stop him, even if it means losing the Heavenly Machine Disk."
The supervisor nodded, "Your Majesty, rest assured."
He held the wine cup, the water in the cup was calm, reflecting the mountains, rivers, and the people.
The supervisor's old hand, with bulging blue veins, seemed to be gathering strength.
With the Diamond Sutra in hand, his goal had been achieved. As for the "demonic questioning of the heart," it would require external force to stop it. Xu Qi'an alone would definitely not be able to resist the Buddhist teachings.
But at this moment, the supervisor suddenly stopped and looked in amazement in the direction of the Yunlu Academy.
...
"Ah, the dog slave resisted," Biaobiao exclaimed excitedly.
In the Buddhist realm, inside the temple, Xu Qi'an released the hand holding the sable hat, and the sable hat remained on his head.
He briefly regained his self-will, resisting joining the Buddhist sect and resisting the indoctrinated thoughts.
Phew... this sigh was echoed by countless people outside the temple.
The resistance from Xu Qi'an seemed to have provoked the wrath of the Buddha statue. The mist around the Buddha mountain shook violently, and a towering golden body began to form.
It was like everything in the world, making everything else seem insignificant. The clouds and mist swirled around him, and the face of the statue was hidden in the unseen high sky.
The statue was not yet the size of a palm.
The towering statue slowly lowered its head, looking at the temple, and then slowly extended a huge Buddha palm.
Pressing down!
Inside the temple, Xu Qi'an's shoulders suddenly sank, as if a great mountain was pressing down on him.
The overwhelming pressure forced him to kneel.
I can't kneel, I can't kneel... Xu Qi'an felt a warning sign in his heart. He had a premonition that once he knelt, there would be no turning back.
He would become a different person, a Xu Qi'an who worshipped and revered the Buddha.
Outside the temple, the Buddha palm of the towering statue pressed down once again. The sound of cracking bones echoed through Xu Qi'an's body, especially in his spine, which protruded slightly and seemed ready to pierce through his flesh at any moment.
His head was lowered even further, unable to straighten up.
The only thing that remained unchanged was his unbent knees.
He refused to kneel, no matter what. Even if he were to believe in Buddhism, it would be willingly, and no one could tame him.
With his head lowered, Xu Qi'an's face turned red, sweat dripping down as his eyes became bloodshot and his expression fierce, resisting the pressure coming down from the sky with all his might.
He opened his mouth and stubbornly uttered, "I won't kneel..."
.........
At the Yunlu Academy.
The Ya Sheng Hall was filled with a strong, clear aura that rose straight into the sky, causing the entire hall to tremble once again.
Inside the academy, students and scholars either looked up or walked out of their rooms, gazing in the direction of the Ya Sheng Hall.
The hall was filled with clear light, and the headmaster Zhao Shou and the three Great Scholars appeared at the same time.
"What's going on? Why is the senior moving again?" Zhang Shen exclaimed in surprise.
The redwood box hanging above the statue of Ya Sheng trembled violently, and this time, the tremors were extremely intense, as if whatever was inside was eager to come out.
"Someone is manipulating the power of all living beings again?" Li Mubai said in disbelief, his eyes wide open.
Headmaster Zhao Shou frowned and said, "Please, senior, calm down."
Buzzing... Unexpectedly, the redwood box trembled even more violently.
Seeing this, the three Great Scholars immediately stirred up their righteous energy and joined forces with Headmaster Zhao Shou to suppress the redwood box, saying, "Please, senior, calm down."
The redwood box fell silent again, but in the next moment...
"Bang!"
The redwood box exploded, and the clear light in the Ya Sheng Hall trembled. Headmaster Zhao Shou and the three Great Scholars were hit in the chest, blood spraying out as they were all sent flying.
A beam of clear light burst out of the box, pierced through the roof of the hall, and shot into the sky.
Headmaster Zhao Shou chased out of the Ya Sheng Hall, his gaze following the clear light as it passed over the mountains and disappeared into the sky.
That was the direction of the capital city...
.............
"Amitabha, I never expected that Master Xu's determination would be so profound. I believe that after converting to Buddhism, his heart has become even clearer." Du'e, the second-ranked Arhat of the Buddhist sect, clasped his hands together.
Biao Biao glared fiercely at Du'e, then suddenly walked out of the cool shed and shouted, "Don't kneel to the bald donkey, you dog slave, stand up."
In the Buddhist realm, Xu Qi'an's shoulder was a blur of flesh and blood, his cervical vertebrae twisted at a strange angle, his pain clearly visible to the onlookers outside the scene.
What kind of determination was this, to allow a person to remain unbowed under such immense pressure?
Was this Xu Qi'an?
Was this the smooth-talking, flirtatious Xu Qi'an?
Those who were familiar with him were shaken at this moment.
Suddenly, an elderly man in casual clothes stood up in the cool shed, his eyes red, and with a slightly trembling voice, he shouted loudly:
"Young heroism, forging bonds with the five heroes. The liver and gallbladder are intertwined, the hair stands on end, life and death are the same. A promise is worth a thousand pieces of gold... A person who can write such words, won't kneel!"
Zhang, the governor, shouted, "Ning Yan, stand up, don't kneel."
Xu Lingyin suddenly shouted, "Big brother..."
Wei Yuan patted her head and finished her sentence, "Don't kneel."
The Prime Minister stood up and said loudly, "The warriors of the Great Feng don't kneel."
In the crowd, someone suddenly raised their fist and roared, "Don't kneel."
This was like lighting the fuse, and the onlookers erupted.
"Don't kneel."
"Don't kneel."
"Don't kneel!"
One by one, more and more people shouted "Don't kneel," a father lifted his son high above his head, and the child's clear voice rang out, "Don't kneel."
A husband held his wife's hand and shouted together, "The people of the Great Feng don't kneel."
From the cool shed to the outside, from the nobles to the common people, at this moment, the people of the Great Feng present all spoke with one voice:
"Don't kneel!"
............
It seems like I can feel the power of all living beings again... In a daze, a pure thought surged into his consciousness, a thought that was complex and grand.
It was conveying a message to him: Don't kneel!
In an instant, an unprecedented light burst from Xu Qi'an's eyes, like a penitent wanderer finally seeing the dawn in the darkness.
He still couldn't straighten his spine, but inexplicably, he raised his arm as if to grasp something.
Something was coming in the darkness.
At the same moment, the voice of thousands of people in the capital city burst out from Xu Qi'an's mouth: "I, Xu Qi'an, will not kneel!"At that moment, a streak of azure light pierced through the sky, accompanied by a thunderous roar, carrying an unstoppable force as it brazenly crashed into the Buddhist realm.
This azure light had been summoned.
Within the Buddhist realm, the towering Buddha-like figure seemed to sense something, retracting its palm and striking towards the intruding azure light.
In the instant of their clash, both the azure and golden lights dimmed simultaneously. After a second of silence, a dazzling explosion of cyan and gold erupted.
Only then did the "boom" of the explosion follow, sending the citizens of the capital scurrying for cover with their heads in their hands.
Outside, a wild wind raged.
The towering Buddha-like figure shattered into pure golden light, returning to the Buddhist realm. The azure light then spiraled into the temple, landing in Xu Qi'an's hand.
It was an ancient, black carving knife.
Xu Qi'an slowly, gradually straightened his back, gripping the carving knife tightly.
"All beings may become Buddhas, so why should I kneel before you?"
After uttering these words, he calmly thrust the carving knife forward.
Crack... The Buddha statue's brow cracked, and in an instant, fissures spread throughout its body before it crumbled apart.
Boom!
As the Buddha statue collapsed, the Buddhist realm shook violently, mountains fell, and the earth quaked.
Crack!
Du'e, the Arhat, looked down in astonishment to see his golden bowl riddled with cracks, and finally, with a "bang," it exploded into powder.
The Buddhist realm vanished along with it.
Two figures tumbled out: the unconscious Jing Si and the proud Xu Qi'an, holding the carving knife.
We are "pawread dot com", find us on google.
Xu Qi'an slowly swept his gaze across the scene, then his eyelids flipped, and he fainted.
Before passing out, Xu Qi'an made sure to hold onto his fur hat.
It was his dignity.
The entire place fell into a silent stillness.
...
PS: Thank you to "Pei Ge Da Da" and "Cheng Bei Xu Gong" for their generous rewards. The ID Pei Ge seems familiar, could it be the Pei Ge I know? Did you change your name?
I fell asleep while writing last night, too tired, and I didn't have time to catch up on sleep during the day, so I couldn't help but doze off for a few hours. Phew... at least I managed to write a big chapter.
