Chapter 21 – Lord Little Skeleton

Immediately, Han Wu split his consciousness to assess the situation.

Locating the position of the Crimson Forge Dwarf chief, Divine Hammer, Han Wu's divine avatar descended.

He saw Divine Hammer engaged in battle with a skeleton.

Divine Hammer wielded a faith weapon modeled after the Inferno Warhammer, swinging it with great force.

His opponent was a small skeleton, only one meter tall. Its entire skeletal structure was like white jade, crystal clear, resembling a work of art.

This reminded Han Wu of the Skeleton Lord that appeared in the twenty-first wave of the Unified Exam.

The small skeleton and the Skeleton Lord seemed to be carved from the same mold.

Patiently observing their battle, Han Wu discovered the small skeleton's terrifying combat strength.

Its bone claws clashed with the faith weapon hammer, easily leaving claw marks on it.

Yet, its bone claws remained undamaged.

"Impressive!" Han Wu instinctively used his divine permission to try and check the small skeleton's information.

He failed.

The system indicated that the small skeleton was not Han Wu's follower, and he lacked reconnaissance methods to view its information.

Han Wu was helpless.

Seeing that Divine Hammer was no match for the small skeleton, he quickly issued a divine decree, summoning Storm Greatsword to join the battle.

Storm Greatsword, a hero lifeform, shattered the small skeleton into a pile of bones with a single Whirlwind Slash.

But in an instant, the scattered bones reassembled, and the small skeleton leaped back into the fray against Storm Greatsword.

Storm Greatsword struck again, shattering the small skeleton, but it quickly reformed.

Han Wu noticed that the second time the small skeleton reformed, it took one second longer than the first.

He guessed that the small skeleton wasn't entirely unharmed when shattered.

Sure enough, as the small skeleton was repeatedly shattered, its recovery speed gradually slowed, and its strength weakened.

Han Wu seized the opportunity to persuade, "Submit to me, believe in me, and you will be reborn."

The small skeleton retaliated with a bone claw, shattering Han Wu's divine avatar to show its defiance.

Han Wu sneered; as long as the Divine Realm remained intact, his divine avatar would persist.

"Keep attacking until it submits," Han Wu commanded.

Storm Greatsword and Divine Hammer executed the order strictly.

Three days later, Storm Greatsword and Divine Hammer brought a pile of dull bones to the Divine Temple.

A faint female voice of prayer echoed in Han Wu's mind.

"I... am willing... to submit... to the deity..."

Han Wu's divine avatar appeared in the Divine Temple, and he patted the small skeleton's smooth skull with satisfaction.

To his surprise, it felt quite nice.

Using divine permission, he checked the follower's information.

The small skeleton's information appeared before Han Wu.

Race Name: Skeleton Race

Race Level: Lord Undead (Weak) (Incomplete) (Sealed)

Race Talent: Crystal Bone, Revival

Faith Level: General Believer

Faith Power: 1 million/day

Han Wu blinked hard: Huh, where's the small skeleton's life cycle?

But upon reflection, the Skeleton Race is undead, inherently lifeless, with no life cycle to speak of.

What astonished Han Wu was that this small skeleton was actually a lord lifeform.

Despite being under three negative states, the essence of a lord lifeform remained, and with cultivation, the small skeleton might reclaim its lordly prowess.

As Han Wu contemplated the small skeleton's future glory, its prayer echoed in his mind again.

"Deity... I... am hungry..."

Han Wu hesitated.

The small skeleton claimed hunger, but it couldn't consume normal flesh.

After all, its chest cavity was transparent, lacking any digestive organs.

"I... need... bone matter..."

The small skeleton's prayer became more explicit.

Han Wu clapped his hands: If it needs bones, it should have said so earlier.

He issued a divine decree, instructing the Locust to bring a large quantity of Flesh and Blood Golem bones.

The small skeleton eagerly pounced, clutching the bones, absorbing the bone energy within.

A leg bone longer than itself took a minute to fully absorb.

The bone turned to ash, while the small skeleton's bones gained a slight luster.

Han Wu frowned; at this rate, it would take three to five days for the small skeleton to return to its previous state, let alone enhance its strength.

Immediately, Han Wu ordered the bones of the Flesh and Blood Golems to be fed into the Disassembler to extract pure bone crystals.

Soon, a bone crystal was delivered.

The soul fire in the small skeleton's eye sockets danced wildly.

If the bones it absorbed earlier were like steamed buns, then this bone crystal was a grand feast.

"Deity... give... me, I... want..." the small skeleton prayed eagerly.

Han Wu ordered the bone crystal to be given to the small skeleton.

Clutching the fist-sized bone crystal, the small skeleton absorbed it vigorously, its bones quickly regaining their brilliance.

"Follow me, and there will be more bone crystals for you to absorb in the future," Han Wu promised.

The soul fire in the small skeleton's eye sockets danced wildly.

It suddenly advanced from a general believer to a true believer. The daily faith power it offered increased tenfold, reaching 10 million, equivalent to one-tenth of divine power.

Han Wu couldn't help but marvel at the power of a lord lifeform. Even under three negative states, its faith capabilities could crush 10 million Celestial Demon Insects.

After settling the small skeleton, Han Wu noticed the envious glances Storm Greatsword and Divine Hammer cast toward it.

These two were envious of the small skeleton's bone crystal absorption.

As a deity, Han Wu had to care for each of his followers.

So, Han Wu waved his hand grandly, purchasing wind and fire attribute ores from the marketplace, spending a billion divine power!

He instructed the Disassembler to continuously produce wind and fire energy crystals.

If the followers couldn't use them all, they'd sell them; there'd be no loss.

The remaining divine power, Han Wu reserved for the Locust to buy Flesh and Blood Golems.

After handling everything, Han Wu checked the time: 7:59 in the real world.

Time to go to school.

In the next instant, Han Wu teleported to the classroom.

A minute later, the homeroom teacher, Tian Wen, entered the classroom and announced, "Class, are you ready to face new challenges?"
