On the steps, all that emerged were physical entities. Upon entering the thirteenth step, it felt as if one had stepped into an alternate dimension, distinctly different from any previous level.

No longer were there spirits or attacks on a mental plane; instead, there were tangible evil spirits and demons, with wings sprouting from their backs and horns on their heads. Their entire bodies seemed to be a patchwork of various animals.

Since the beginning of Chosen's Paradise, this was the first time such a scene had appeared, completely detached from reality and the human world.

It was as if one had suddenly stepped from the realm of human understanding into another domain.
