Su Miaoqing followed her finger and saw a small ferry dock by a wider part of the river in the distance. A young man and woman were just then striking a deal with the boatman at the dock before boarding a boat and departing.

Su Miaoqing’s eyes lit up. After thanking the old woman, she turned back to Xiao Yifeng and said, "Yifeng, that looks like fun over there. Let's go rent a small boat too."

"No rush," Xiao Yifeng said. "Let's buy our lanterns first." He then turned to the old woman. "Excuse me, could we have two lanterns, please?"

Xiao Yifeng noticed the old woman also had handheld fireworks. He bought several of those as well, and after paying, Su Miaoqing excitedly took a lantern and ran to the side to write her wish.
