Guided by the locust leader, the swarm scattered the remaining seeds in the farmlands outside Crystal City, hoping for a bountiful harvest. After waiting and watering, something did indeed sprout in the fields.

However, what they mostly reaped were weeds, which spread across the majority of the planting area, completely overwhelming the growth space of the food crops.

The tyrannical locusts, infuriated, tore and bit at the fields, devouring the weeds with a vengeance.

After several trials and errors, they finally coaxed tender shoots to emerge from the soil.
