After a moment of calm, ripples spread through the surrounding forested environment. Soon after, Saga and Tixil emerged, followed by a creature whose appearance exuded malevolence.

Its slender form was covered in a slimy, glossy layer of mucus, and from its chin hung four long tentacles—a Mind Flayer, also known as a Heart Devourer.

Not only did its appearance suggest evil, but in fact, the Heart Devourer belonged to a malevolent faction, and not just any malevolent being—it was of a caliber that could serve as the mastermind behind the scenes in many a legend.
