Sealing objects of evil spirits.
Su Li frowned, this required an extraordinary soul guide.
Back at the scene of the ribbon-cutting ceremony, Su Li used spiritual transmission to communicate with Chilov:
"I'm going to the south district."
Chilov put his arm around Su Li's shoulder and smiled brightly at the nobles and ladies he was talking to:
"Sorry, I'll be right back."
The two of them walked to the side unhurriedly, and Chilov asked in a low voice:
"What's the situation?"
"There are sealing objects of evil spirits at the South District Museum, and they should still be searching for them."
Chilov patted Su Li's shoulder and nodded:
"This requires the ability of a soul guide. I'll arrange a carriage for you, and I'll handle things here myself."
With his spiritual vision, Su Li saw a pink mist enveloping Chilov's outstretched hand.
"My new ability, Lucky Blessing. Let me try it for you."
As Su Li tightly held Chilov's hand, he noticed the pink mist entering his sleeve, but his body didn't change at all.
"Go, be careful."
"Understood."
After speaking, Chilov waved to a little brother who had been paying attention to them and instructed:
"Mika, arrange a carriage to take the boss to the South District Museum."
Following this little brother, Su Li boarded a completely black carriage. He pulled back the curtain and changed into a double-breasted coat that symbolized the identity of a nightwalker.
Putting on a black top hat, he activated his stealth mode.
His face immediately seemed to be covered in a mist, making it impossible for people to remember his appearance.
The carriage didn't travel slowly. After about twenty minutes, it stopped steadily in the South District, which was already surrounded by adjudicators and police officers.
"This is far enough."
Getting off the carriage, Su Li quickly walked through the crowd.
In stealth mode, no one cast any suspicious glances at him.
Su Li swaggered into the restricted area of the South District, and the people in charge of guarding here didn't even ask for his identification. They just glanced at his double-breasted coat and then looked away.
That's the power of stealth mode.
Successfully entering the sealed-off area of the South District, Su Li was soon noticed by an adjudicator.
"Who are you?"
Showing his identification, Su Li asked:
"Where are my companions?"
The adjudicator said seriously:
"Turn right at the front street block. They are still investigating. The sealing objects have the characteristic of being 'alive,' and it's dangerous to know how to hide."
Feeling the other party's well-intentioned reminder, Su Li nodded. He quickened his pace and walked through the quiet residential area, turning around to the Serede Museum.
It was an architectural area with a fountain, stone column arches, and large floor-to-ceiling windows.
Inside, there was a vigilant nightwalker team, and Researcher D2 Michel was holding a pocket watch, detecting the mystical energy around him.
Sealing object number 3-7382.
Shubert's pocket watch.
The hands of the pocket watch were steadily turning without any signs of acceleration.
This meant that there was a sealing object nearby, continuously emitting pollution and energy.
"How is it?" Su Li asked when he arrived at the scene.
Captain Cameron answered:
"It's very tricky. This sealing object is quite cunning, and the pollution range is extremely wide. Lilith tried to use her necromancer ability, but found that all the spirits in the area had disappeared."
"Now we can only use brute force. While using the sealing object 3-7382 to determine the location, we'll also let Lilith materialize her spirit form and go through the museum's artifacts one by one."
Su Li frowned as he watched Shubert's pocket watch steadily absorb the mystical power. Since they couldn't determine the location, he asked:
"Captain, what should I do?"
Cameron said, "We need you to combine with Lilith."
When you're just trying to make great content at bit.ly/3iBfjkV.
"What?!" Su Li was startled.
Combine?!
How do they combine? What does this have to do with searching for the sealing objects?
Cameron took a puff of his cigar and explained:
"Your enhanced clairvoyance is good at detecting fluctuations in spirits. But that's not enough. Lilith can maximize the function of clairvoyance by possessing you. Do you understand?"
Su Li breathed a sigh of relief and said, "Okay."
"Go in, prepare the Ghost Revolver. After discovering the sealing object, try the soul-binding effect first. If it doesn't work, you're allowed to use any means to contain the sealing object."
As he spoke, Cameron handed him a small bottle.
It was a small bottle made of an unknown black material, with a seal tightly sealed with wax, with a seal written in Valerian language.
"This is a bottle of wildfire, extremely destructive to extraordinary characteristics. It can be used when necessary, but be careful. If you get even a little on you, you'll be burned to death immediately. It's very dangerous, so use it with caution."
Su Li put the small bottle in his pocket and quickly entered the museum.
What came into view were various exotic artifacts.
There were large skeletal specimens, vessels engraved with mysterious runes, ancient swords, statues, books, and so on.
Lilith's figure quickly outlined in the air and appeared in front of Su Li:
"Did the captain tell you?"
"I'm a parasite. Is there any risk in doing this?" Su Li asked.
Lilith's azure eyes flickered, and she pointed to the Black Night pendant on Su Li's neck, saying:
"Don't worry, there's the bishop's seal. You just need to relax, and I'll take care of the rest."
Su Li nodded, closed his eyes, and recalled the feeling of meditation, quickly entering a relaxed state of body and mind.
Lilith quickly moved behind him and took a step forward. Her spiritual form merged with Su Li's figure in an instant.
When he opened his eyes again, the azure and deep black eyes overlapped, and the world around him instantly underwent earth-shattering changes. Is this the world through the eyes of a Necromancer?
The dim gas lamp still flickered with light.
Everything around had turned into shades of black and white.
Su Li felt as if he had stepped into an old black-and-white photograph.
The world inside was devoid of any color.
As Su Li moved his eyes, the surrounding objects began to leave trails of afterimages, like a delayed exposure effect from a camera, indescribably eerie.
"Adapt a bit, overlay the two types of vision."
He rotated his pupils, blinked, and the azure and deep black of his eyes gradually overlapped, turning into a vortex-like black-blue hue.
Su Li raised his hand, finding his body gradually becoming semi-transparent, somewhere between a spirit and a physical entity.
"My body feels lighter, it's... quite peculiar."
Lilith's voice echoed from within Su Li:
"Focus, pay attention to your surroundings."
Su Li concentrated, looking around, gradually he saw some glowing spirits.
In the display case in front of him, a scepter was emitting a dim golden glow.
Looking further, some sacrificial utensils were showing a light blue hue.
These auras were all extremely faint, colors that Su Li couldn't see even with his enhanced vision under the protection of Spirit Vision and Night Shelter.
"Many utensils used for worshipping gods, or things that have come into contact with Transcendent powers, will retain a certain level of contamination."
"But this contamination is minuscule compared to the spirits, look at your sealed object."
Su Li lowered his head, seeing the Ghost Revolver in his hand emitting a cold white light.
And the thief's belt was emitting a distorted light purple.
These colors were extremely intense within his black-and-white vision.
Far more dazzling than the antiques displayed in the cabinet.
