Vol.1 - Chapter 94 – Distortion and loss of control

"I told you to come over, didn't you hear? You pig-headed fool!"

After calling Su Li for the first time and seeing no response, Pilou raised his voice.

His sharp and protruding mouth involuntarily opened slightly, revealing a set of sharp fangs, with drool dripping from the corners of his lips.

The threat was obvious.

As a zoologist, Su Li had once filmed lions and tigers up close. Being in an unfamiliar environment now did not stir any emotions in him.

Soon, the surrounding slaves began to cheer.

Having been trapped in the carriage for a long time with nothing to do, they were excited to witness this spectacle.

The area was crowded with dwarves, goblins, and orcs. They were banging on the metal railing and making loud noises, making Su Li feel as if he was surrounded by "gorillas".

Su Li slowly turned around, displaying emotions of "shock," "fear," and "reluctance" on his face.

As a slave, Su Li's current "new identity" was that of a fallen nobleman from the Dragon Grace Baron's family.

He was a real slave, but he had already died of illness on the way to captivity.

So now, he could only use the combat skills he learned from Chilov.

Thinking of this, Su Li sighed and a hint of sharpness appeared in his lowered eyelids.

Since you're looking for death, I'll send you on your way.

Moving towards Pilou, Su Li's brain was still working rapidly.

Facing a subhuman, someone who had been in contact with wild animals and nature for a long time, he had both courage and caution.

The corner of his eye surveyed the surroundings, searching for a possible escape route.

On the lower bunk to the left, there were the three dwarf brothers. They had a bad temper and were very close-knit, but their combat power was average.

At the entrance, the goblins were crowded together, making the most noise.

These green-skinned creatures, whistling and looking like little creatures from The Lord of the Rings, were the most annoying presence in the slave carriage. They loved to watch the excitement, but were cowards.

Many human slaves stood far away, looking at this place with fear and anger, not daring to approach.

Because blocking their way by leaning against the threshold were a group of orcs of various kinds, including the Fox Tribe, the Dog-headed Doug Tribe, and the Pig Tribe. These guys were Pilou's lackeys...

Observing the environment quickly, Su Li had already made calculations in his mind.

At this moment, when Su Li saw him dawdling, a goblin slave standing behind him suddenly kicked him in the back.

Su Li's skills were certainly not weak enough to be knocked over by a goblin, but at this moment, he stumbled and pretended to clumsily pounce towards Pilou.

Pilou was extremely pleased at this moment, and his hand was already undoing his own rope belt.

Seeing Su Li about to pounce clumsily, the surrounding slaves became even more excited, jumping and shouting.

However, at this moment, a sudden change occurred.

Originally, Su Li, who had been obediently "looking panicked," suddenly rolled forward and, in an instant, grabbed the other's pants and pulled them down forcefully.

The pants were torn, causing Pilou to let out a loud scream of shock and anger.

He never dreamed that this human bug in front of him would dare to show such disrespect!

"You're looking for death! You pig-headed fool!"

"I'll smash all your teeth...ugh!!!" Before his curse could finish, Su Li, who had already jumped behind Pilou, kicked him fiercely in the groin.

Ahh!!!

Under the attack to his groin, Pilou momentarily forgot to fight back, and his large body suddenly arched.

Su Li was secretly shocked. It seemed that the mutated effect of the "Monster Meat" contamination on the body was not as weak as he had imagined!

Su Li held back his strength with this kick, but the tremendous force still created a gust of wind. The strength was already greater than before continuously taking the magic medicine.

The blow was effective, and Su Li immediately seized the opportunity.

He jumped onto Pilou's back and his heavy punches rained down on Pilou's sparsely-haired, large head like a storm!

The sound of bones cracking was teeth-gritting. Su Li's movements were as fast as lightning, but he only used half of his strength. Each punch happened to create a splash of blood.

Even though Pilou had tough skin and thick flesh, this sudden storm of heavy punches knocked him to the ground.

The cries of surprise around were drowned out by the storm-like heavy punches, and all the cheers and whistles came to a sudden halt.

Soon, a goblin with a shocked expression trembled and exclaimed:

"It's...it's over..."

"Damn it, run!!"

Following that, the slaves in this crowded bunkhouse ran outside in fear.

Pilou was not an ordinary orc who had mutated once.

He was a monster who had survived the "Whisper of the Evil God" and had mutated several times!

Under Su Li's relentless pounding, Pilou, who was crouched on the ground, suddenly emitted a strange, twisted laughter, as if he had encountered something extremely funny. He laughed so hard that he couldn't catch his breath.

If it weren't for the blood already flowing and the heavy punches still producing dull explosions, everyone would have been infected by that laughter and thought that something extremely funny had happened.

Su Li remained calm. His fists continued to rain down mechanically. According to the information given by Ackman Hoynes, he was quite clear about the reactions of the distorters after being beaten. This yellow weasel-like creature had already been subjected to a mild form of 'corrosion' and 'pollution'. The seemingly severe injury in front of him, however, was not enough to take Pilou's life.

With Pilou's laughter, the wound on his back began to heal rapidly!

This was an abnormal growth phenomenon. The flesh and blood on his back were squirming rapidly, as if the growth rate had accelerated countless times. It allowed a wound that would normally take months to heal to mend in just a few breaths.

Although Su Li had some psychological expectations about Pilou's mutation through the information he had, it was only when he truly saw this scene, which contradicted biological common sense and laws, that he truly realized how terrifying a mutant could be.

As a zoologist, Su Li was very clear that wound healing was a continuous process.

The healing process had already begun after the injury occurred.

This process generally includes: blood exudation, scab formation, white blood cells cleaning the wound, fibrous tissue formation, scar contraction, and other stages.

And rapid healing meant an acceleration of the metabolic rate.

That was not entirely an advantage. As long as this process was interfered with, Pilou's advantage would turn into a disadvantage!

He wanted to disrupt this process.

Just as the flesh and blood on Pilou's back were healing rapidly, Su Li fiercely plucked a handful of wolf hair and ruthlessly rubbed it into Pilou's wound.

Pilou's erect mane was like steel needles. At this moment, a handful of wolf hair was brutally rubbed into the rapidly healing wound, and Pilou's originally mad laughter immediately turned into a painful howl.

"Awooo!!!"
