Chapter 64 – Traveler's Scroll

After four hours of discussion, the combat meeting finally ended, and it was time for rest. Many transcendent individuals were preparing and recuperating inside the Shrine of the Divine Guardians.

Su Li sat in a corner, loading ammunition onto each weapon.

In the distance, the Black Swordsman, Green Dash, was distributing seals to various squads.

The amount of supplies for the battle was quite substantial.

In addition to the necessary protective masks, emergency medicine, and thermal weapons, almost every group received a Level 2 seal to deal with unexpected situations.

Lilith walked over and handed Su Li a cup of hot ginger tea.

Su Li took the hot tea and pointed to a nearby mechanical rifle, saying, "I've loaded the bullets for you. Each bag contains 15 rounds of different types of ammunition, all of which have a wide range of destructive power."

Lilith picked up the latest model of the high-pressure steam-powered machine gun. Having guarded the Chenix Gate multiple times, she skillfully pulled the bolt.

This new type of rifle was quite heavy, measuring one meter and three centimeters in length. It was completely black and had an oversized barrel with three gun barrels.

She opened the magazine to check the silver demon-hunting bullets, the Wildfire Fusion Bullets, and the Aluminum Thermite Ammunition in the barrel. Then she put the three different types of bullets that Su Li gave her into a tactical waist bag for easy carrying.

The four transcendent individuals responsible for medical support, who did not participate in the combat meeting earlier, each carried a large medicine box and walked into their pre-assigned teams.

Time passed second by second.

The atmosphere in the Shrine of the Divine Guardians gradually became heavy.

Many transcendent individuals were studying the new transcendent items they had obtained for their teams, carefully understanding and organizing their usage methods and negative effects.

Some squad leaders were quietly discussing the details of the battle within their respective teams.

Finally, when the two Storm Church's top four-ranked priests in their deep blue robes arrived, Commander Green Dash took out a scroll painting.

Seal: Traveler's Scroll.

This was a giant geographical scroll with a golden frame and a deep red gemstone as the scroll axis.

It clearly marked all the terrain and landforms of the entire continent, and used the blood of high-ranking travelers as ink to write the names of each place.

The part of the scroll depicting the continent was very realistic, with many mountains and rivers shrouded in deep shadows.

Rather than a scroll, it looked more like a huge sand table when unfolded.

Every piece of soil and every mountain on it was carved and painted using special local plants, soil, and rock powder as pigments.

As this scroll, which was as tall as a person, slowly unfolded, all the Night Watchers seemed to be looking down at the entire continent from high above, giving them an inexplicable fear of heights.

When the scroll was one-third unfolded, this large scroll had already extended more than ten meters and finally revealed a green bean-sized island at the position of the sea.

It was clearly marked with red and black ancient Hermes script: Pirate Bay.

A Night Watcher curiously approached the map to take a look, but because he got too close and lost his balance, he pressed his hand against the scroll.

He pressed on nothing, as if he were a person who had fallen off a cliff and directly fell into the painting.

Behind him, the Captain of the Night Watch, Hussein Gustav, quickly reached out and grabbed the leg of this Night Watcher, lifting him up with one hand.

The Captain responsible for unfolding the scroll, Aisha Trelis, reminded aloud, "Don't get too close. If you accidentally fall into the painting, you will fall from a height of ten thousand meters to the ground and turn into minced meat."

Upon hearing Captain Aisha's words, many transcendent individuals who were watching the Traveler's Scroll couldn't help but take a step back.

Commander Green Dash took out a square glass jar and opened it, saying to everyone, "Look at the mouth of the jar in order."

As a member of the Black Swordsman squad stepped forward as a demonstration, he brought his face close to the edge of the jar, and a huge suction force instantly sucked him in.

He turned into a tiny person the size of an ant and fell to the bottom of the jar.

Seal: Child's Bug Catching Jar.

Imitating the appearance of the Black Swordsman member, one after another member of the Night Church entered the jar and turned into tiny people the size of ants.

Soon, there was a dense layer of transcendent individuals beneath the jar.

The entry into the jar continued, and many transcendent individuals squeezed together. Su Li curiously looked at the transparent glass jar and finally it was his turn to enter.

As he brought his face close to the jar...

It was as if he had been pushed in front of a water tank, and his whole body instantly shrank and fell into the jar.

Underneath him were all transcendent individuals. They caught Su Li with their hands, and more people continued to fall from above.

"Don't squeeze, catch your fellow comrades who are coming in."

"Be careful, who stepped on my head?"

"Secure your transcendent items, close the safety locks on your thermal weapons, and don't let your blades harm your comrades..."

The voices inside the jar became high-pitched and funny. Su Li stumbled and leaned against the edge of the jar, looking at the outside world.

Everything had become incredibly huge, and this experience was quite interesting.

As several captains finally entered the jar, there were more than two layers of people inside.

Captain Green Dash lifted the jar, and the transcendent individuals inside immediately felt disoriented and experienced intense shaking.

The short Black Swordsman Captain said to the two external aids from the Storm Church, "Would you two mind?"

The leader, a middle-aged goddess with long blue hair, said, "No need. The two of us are good at flying and can jump with you."Green Dash nodded, tightening the wooden stopper of the jar and fastening the entire jar to his waist. He addressed the two members of the Storm Church:

"Since that's the case, let's set off."

Having said that, Green Dash locked his gaze on the location of Pirate Bay and took a step towards the scroll.

Instantly, the extraordinary beings inside the jar felt a tremendous sense of weightlessness.

High above in the sky, Green Dash, with one hand on the sealed jar at his waist, plummeted towards the sea surface like a hawk.

Inside the sealed jar, everyone was jumbled together. Su Li, who was originally at the top, crashed to the bottom of the jar, with Mysella straddling his neck. His cheek was pressed tightly against the glass, giving him a view of the sea under the night sky.

It was a tranquil and vast sea.

Despite the glass barrier, Su Li could still hear the rapid whistling of the wind as they fell from the sky.

The Black Swordsman, Green Dash, removed his hand from the jar and drew two long swords.

With the eruption of spiritual power, the originally slender sword bodies were instantly covered in a layer of pitch black.

The broad sword blades, under the thick and substantial spiritual coverage, seemed to transform into two enormous wings, carrying the Black Swordsman, Green Dash, swiftly towards the distant island.

Under the impact of the powerful force, Green Dash landed on the dark beach that had been washed countless times by the sea.

Sand flew high, the people in the jar were violently shaken, and the landing jolted them into a state of disarray.

The distant Pirate Bay was bustling, and many of the docked pirate ships replenishing their supplies didn't notice Green Dash, shrouded in darkness, descending from the sky.

He untied the jar from his waistband, set up a simple sound barrier under the cover of darkness, then pulled out the stopper and made a pouring gesture. Over a hundred night watchers tumbled into the shadows.

"Silence, regroup on the spot."
