In a swarm, all the Xu Zongs rushed forward, led by Swallowed Xu Zong, to begin a comprehensive cleanup of the beast's lair.

It was the early stage of this cycle in the original universe. Although the beasts had already been born, their overall strength was still relatively low.

The beasts go through two stages. The first stage is the gestation period, during which the universe sea, following the highest rules, will birth a billion beasts. These billion beasts are all first-stage beasts at birth, constantly fighting and devouring each other, reducing their numbers.

Typically, 33 first-stage beasts will eventually give birth to one second-stage beast, 33 second-stage beasts will give birth to one third-stage beast, and so on. Ultimately, the billion beasts will dwindle to just over thirty, but each of these will be a sixth-stage beast. These sixth-stage beasts will then devour each other until only one remains—the beast king.
