Dawn breaks over the city of Shuzhou in Sichuan Province, at the foot of Mount Emei.

A colossal spatial rift, some three hundred meters in length, cleaves the valley in two, as if the very void has been sundered by a sword, separating the main peak of Mount Emei from the Covered Peaks.

Not far from here lies the Mount Emei scenic area, though it has been closed for half a year.
